At Symphony, we have made investments in technologies to maximize energy efficiency and obtain sustainable materials because we are acutely conscious of the need to reduce our carbon footprint and the effect our actions have on future generations.


Symphony was the first business in our sector to receive the BS 9002 Part 2 and ISO 9001-2008 certifications for quality assurance. Continuous review, development, and improvement are the core principles of quality management processes. This certification was given to Symphony in appreciation for the calibre and reliability of its production and control systems. Each kitchen from Symphony is assured with a 5-year warranty and our stringent quality control also guarantees you the best quality furniture that's built to last so that you can buy our furniture with complete confidence.


We have been awarded the ISO14001: 2015 standard for our Environmental Management System for which we are audited twice a year. We were the first company in the industry to attain the previous 2004 standard BS EN ISO14001: 2004 for recognising and controlling the effects of manufacturing on the environment.


Symphony kitchens is a fully accredited member of FIRA, the Furniture Industry Research Association.

Symphony is a recipient of the FIRA Gold Award which is the ultimate mark of product excellence within the furniture industry. This award provides a solid reassurance that a product meets all necessary standards. The award provides comprehensive testing and ongoing auditing programmes, for a complete range or item of furniture, thus ensuring that it has been manufactured to the highest possible standards.

Symphony is a fully accredited member of FIRA, the Furniture Research Research Association, and the FIRA International Gold Certification is the recognised quality mark for products or installation services within the furniture and kitchen industries. This certificate shows that we comply with all comprehensive text and ongoing auditing procedures.

In order to achieve the FIRA Gold standard, each product has to be individually assessed against specified performance levels through independent tests or evaluation by FIRA International. It is documented proof that products and installation processes are of the highest standard with consistency in production and installation quality verified through regular audit testing and inspections.

The FIRA Gold Product Certification scheme is the independent third-party product validation scheme for the furniture industry.


Symphony became the first in the industry to be certified with a full Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) chain of custody. The trademark indicates that the wood used comes from a well-managed forest in accordance with strict environmental, social and economic standards. We are committed to supporting international systems of timber from independently verified, well-managed forests. All our timber-based materials are sourced with full FSC® certification.
